EveryMatrix has been selected as the digital provider for the Maltese National Lottery. The National Lottery, a subsidiary of IZI Group, recently secured the franchise to manage the Maltese National Lottery. This marks the first time in 18 years that the lottery is being operated by a Maltese-owned enterprise.

EveryMatrix will furnish its online gaming platform for the lottery, integrating with International Game Technology (IGT)’s lottery technology. IGT’s retail transaction engine will be incorporated into EveryMatrix’s CasinoEngine platform via IGT’s Aurora Anywhere, enabling players to access all of the National Lottery’s draw games online on computers and mobile devices.

Ebbe Groes, the chief executive officer of EveryMatrix Group, expressed his pride in backing the National Lottery company.

The National Lottery’s new system is designed to provide a safe transition for Maltese players away from illicit or exploitative secondary lottery operations. This move signifies the platform’s effectiveness, as it integrates with the world’s top lottery system provider.

After 18 years since its privatization in 2004, the Maltese National Lottery will be managed by a company entirely owned by Maltese citizens. This marks a significant milestone, as the company aims to deliver localized, cutting-edge, and superior services to the market. This is according to Franco De Gabriele, the National Lottery’s Chief Commercial Officer.

The company plans to invest in the system to ensure that the services provided meet the highest standards and adhere to the most stringent compliance regulations. Their digital advancements will place Malta on the global stage, and they will collaborate closely with authorities to eradicate all forms of lottery misconduct.
