888 Holdings Completes William Hill Acquisition and Announces New Leadership Team

888 Holdings has finalized its acquisition of William Hill’s global business, prevailing in a competitive bidding process last year.

This action brings both William Hill and Mr Green under the 888 brand, and the organization is swiftly moving to combine them. As a component of the reorganization, there have been notable adjustments to the executive team.

In a shift that was anticipated by many, William Hill’s Chief Executive, Ulrik Bengtsson, has resigned. Eric Hageman, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), is also leaving as part of what 888 describes as an “organizational shift.”

However, the changes are not all-encompassing. Several recognizable individuals from William Hill will remain. Mark Skinner, who joined William Hill in 2021 as Chief People Officer after serving in various senior Human Resources positions, will stay on.

Joining him is Satty Bhens, who has held the role of Chief Product and Technology Officer at William Hill since 2019. Both will continue in their current capacities.

The merged entity will be led by Itai Pazner, 888’s existing CEO. He will be supported by other seasoned 888 executives, including Yariv Dafna, CFO, and Guy Cohen, COO.

Looking forward, 888 will commence reporting its financial performance in pounds sterling, starting with its mid-year results in August.
