The Australian gaming powerhouse, Aristocrat Leisure, announced a substantial 23% revenue increase for the half-year concluding on March 31st, 2022, achieving an impressive A$2.75 billion (approximately US$1.92 billion). This remarkable upswing was driven by robust results in both their Pixel United mobile gaming segment and their established land-based casino machine operations. Profitability also experienced a significant boost, with EBITDA soaring 30% to A$970.3 million. The firm attributed its achievements to several elements, including the relaxation of pandemic limitations and a rise in consumer expenditure. Chief Executive Trevor Croker conveyed optimism regarding Aristocrat’s prospects, emphasizing their strategic allocations in personnel, innovation, and product advancement as primary catalysts for their sustained expansion in market dominance.
