A significant European lottery contender, Allwyn, is expanding rapidly into the North American market. They recently purchased Camelot Illinois, the operator of the Illinois Lottery, and have rebranded it as Allwyn North America. This action is a key element of Allwyn’s plan to replicate their European achievements and become a top lottery provider in North America.

Despite the new brand identity, operations at the Illinois Lottery remain unchanged. The existing staff continues to manage the same games, upholding their dedication to ethical gaming practices and community contributions. Robert Chvátal, Allwyn’s CEO, perceives substantial opportunities within the North American market and is eager to share Allwyn’s expertise and commitment to social responsibility with a broader demographic.

The head of Allwyn’s North American operations, Wayne Pickup, underscored the firm’s commitment to its core objectives. He remarked, “Our primary concern continues to be putting our patrons first, developing captivating encounters for participants, and fundamentally boosting income expansion for the lotteries under our purview. This yields advantages for every party concerned. Utilizing the vast international assets, proficiency, and elite personnel of the Allwyn Group, we are assured in our capacity to enhance the lottery experience within Illinois and generate remarkable outcomes for all investors.”
