Bet99, a Canadian online gaming firm, has partnered with Low6, a gaming technology company, to provide complimentary games to its user base. The plan is to utilize Low6’s skills to develop sports-centric games, particularly those focused on forecasting NFL and NHL draft selections.

This game style is experiencing a surge in popularity among sports wagering companies, especially in the United States. As an illustration, the Indianapolis Colts debuted their own draft prediction game in collaboration with Caesars Sportsbook.

The objective is to draw in new players and provide casual sports enthusiasts with a taste of sports betting. Milena Teskova, CEO of BQC Consulting (the firm that manages Bet99), is confident that this collaboration will enhance Bet99’s engagement mechanisms and attract new customers.

Josh Turk, Low6’s Chief Strategy Officer for North America, concurs. He views free-to-play games as a valuable method for introducing sports wagering to novices. He believes it’s an ideal instrument for the recently regulated Canadian market, enabling fans to participate in a social, low-stress setting while becoming acquainted with wagering choices and probabilities.

This collaboration comes at an opportune moment for Bet99 as they gear up to enter the Ontario market, which recently legalized mobile gaming and single-event sports betting.

Royal Amusements has received preliminary approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) but awaits the final go-ahead from iGaming Ontario (iGO). Not content to rest, Royal Amusements is making a significant play to grow by purchasing Sports Venture Holdings (SVH), the controlling entity behind the well-known Canadian sports wagering platform Bet99. A shareholder gathering is even scheduled for October 25th to secure collective support for the acquisition.
